How to Measure Your Ring Size At Home

A perfectly fit ring should not come off easily when you ease it on your finger, it should rather slide smoothly. This is important both for your comfort and to minimize the risk of loss.

If you would rather measure at home, here are the steps to follow:

1. Cut a strip of paper or string no wider than 1/2" (1.4 cm).

2. Wrap it around the very base of your finger that you are planning to wear the ring on.

3. Use a pen to mark the point where it forms a complete circle and overlaps.

The paper and string method is not 100% accurate, but it can give you a close estimate.
